Live ATC from the South West United Kingdom alt="23420028611 e69084a8ec b" border="0">

Welcome to my SDR!

It's built around 2 NeSDR SMArt Premium receivers on a Xeon Dual Core cabinet server at 2.3 GHz with 3Gb of ram, running Linux MATE Yakkety Yak x64.

Antenna is a homemade 8 stack 1/2 wave colinear(just over 8 mtrs long), that lives inside a 10 mtr fishing pole which sits on top of a 10 mtr ally pole. All in all...a fantastic lightning conductor! then fed into a 40db wideband LNA, onto a 15 db attenuator/filter to reduce overmodulation, then finally boosted an extra 5db on the SDR's gain, (just using the SDR gain alone amplifies the noise and saturates the signal)

This site is still in an experimental stage, with modifications and additions done on a regular basis.

This site and SDR is maintained by myself and funded by my credit card in my (limited) spare time. I hope you get some enjoyment from it. If you have any questions, comments or suggestions then send me an email at chris@swukairband.co.uk

There are 2 receivers online at the moment. SDR-1 covers 127.976MHz - 130.024 MHz and SDR-2 covers 133.546 - 135.594 MHz. Audio recording has now been fixed. Click start to record.
